Arosh murmured, then suddenly looked up.
"Superior Officer Xia Le, would that be possible?"
Smoker and Buggy froze at his words, then laughed. "Superior Officer Xia Le does always carry a sword, but we don't know if he's a swordsman."
"You could ask him."
Arosh took that to heart and nodded.
He wanted to help the man who had saved his life reach the pinnacle and make his dream a reality.
After all, that man had done more than save his life. He had freed him from a dark, bottomless prison he could never have escaped on his own.
But that would take great strength.
Right now, he was still weak.
He could not even use the flames on his back.
After spending a little longer with Smoker and Buggy, Arosh turned and headed toward the tallest building in the base.
"You want to learn swordsmanship?"
Xia Le smiled as he studied the boy before him.
"Yes!"
Arosh nodded.
"All right."
"I'll teach you swordsmanship. I'll make you the strongest swordsman in the world."
After a moment's thought, Xia Le agreed.
"But I don't have much time, so I won't have many chances to teach you."
"You'll need to spend most of your time practicing and figuring things out for yourself."
Excitement swept across Arosh's face, and he nodded firmly.
Xia Le then spent two hours teaching him the basics of swordsmanship.
He watched the Lunarian boy practice and marveled at his talent.
A born Great Swordsman?
And with his race's natural gifts on top of that...
Xia Le could not help but be amazed.
After Arosh left, Vegapunk hurried over, his face alight with excitement.
"Xia Le, I heard you took in a Lunarian boy?"
Xia Le nodded. "That's right."
"They're gods of legend!"
"I want to study his
