Blue arcs of electricity reached down like the tentacles of some enormous beast, striking the ground in an instant.
Crackle!
Electricity raced across the ground, scorching patches of white cloud black.
"You needn't go any farther."
An indifferent voice sounded beside Gan Fall's ear.
Gan Fall jerked his head up. Ten meters ahead, a bolt of lightning fell from the sky and struck the ground.
Then a figure stepped out of the electric glow.
"Who are you?"
Gan Fall's pupils contracted as he demanded an answer.
He felt immense pressure. The stranger had done nothing, yet Gan Fall was trembling all over, and sweat beaded on his forehead.
Xia Le smiled faintly. He raised a finger and pointed around him.
Bolts of lightning shot out. The soldiers beside Gan Fall were struck and collapsed without a sound.
"You'll have plenty of time to get to know me."
"But I came here today to tell you one thing."
Xia Le walked toward him.
When he reached Gan Fall, he bent slightly and looked down at him.
"And that is..."
"This island belongs to me from today on!"
Gan Fall shuddered. "What?"
He immediately understood. This man was an invader through and through.
In an instant, Gan Fall thrust his spear at the man's chest.
But when the spearpoint pierced Xia Le's chest, disbelief filled Gan Fall's eyes.
"How is that possible?!"
Xia Le smiled and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Do I have to say it again?"
Electricity burst from his hand and swept over Gan Fall's entire body.
The god of Sky Island convulsed. The lightning drained his strength, and he crumpled to the ground.

"I bear no ill will toward anyone here."
