"This is a small matter! I'd be happy to help."
The Giant Whale Sage spoke.
His enormous eyes kept glancing toward Xia Le in the distance.
He had originally wanted to refuse on instinct. After all, this was his time to train and feed.
But with his creator standing nearby, he naturally swallowed his refusal.
Looks like I need to create a few descendants as soon as possible to get these troublesome tasks off my back!
The Giant Whale Sage grumbled inwardly.
He had not only gained sentience; in this short time, his intelligence had already become every bit a match for a human's.
"Hurry onto the Giant Whale Sage's back. He'll take you away!"
Sakumo urged them on.
The Kaguya civilians stared at the enormous Giant Whale Sage in shock, then trembled as they climbed aboard.
A short while later, his back was packed with people.
"Well then, Sakumo, I'll be off!"
Sakumo smiled and thanked him. "Thank you, Giant Whale Sage!"
The Giant Whale Sage moved his right fin as though waving goodbye.
The next second, his enormous body soared into the sky and vanished in the blink of an eye.
"What was that?!"
Only then did the Kaguya Clan Head pull his shocked gaze away.
"The Giant Whale Sage!"
"If the Kaguya want a summoning beast too, perhaps you could ask him to sign a contract."
After a pause, Sakumo smiled.
"The Giant Whale Sage is incredibly powerful. He's no less formidable than the Three Great Sage Lands!"
The Kaguya Clan Head blinked, both horrified and overjoyed.
Nagato, Yahiko, Konan, and Shisui also gazed reverently in the direction the Giant Whale Sage had gone. Who wouldn't want such a massive, majestic summoning beast?
"Lord Sakumo, could we sign a contract with him?"
Yahiko asked with a grin.
