The voice seemed to come from an unimaginably distant place. After a moment of surprise, Xia Le channeled his divine power and instantly traced the voice to its source.
Before long, he pinpointed someone on a tiny planet.
"Can you hear me?"
The next instant, the voice grew so loud that it nearly deafened him.
"I hear you! I hear you!"
Xia Le covered his ears and shouted.
Then he sent a telepathic reply.
"Are you King Kai?"
From the voice, he could sense that the other party's divine rank was far above his own.
Of course, that only applied to divine rank, not strength.
"Oh? Earth's new God, you actually know who I am?"
"And when did Earth get a new God?"
King Kai asked curiously.
As a King, his only means of contact with the mortal world were gods and the souls of the dead.
As for the disasters that had occurred on Earth, someone in his position paid them little mind.
After all, how many planets were destroyed across the universe every day?
Earth was nothing special.

Over that year, he had made enormous strides in both divine combat and the use of divine power.
"A year, huh!"
"If I hadn't sensed a new divine presence in the North Galaxy, I might have forgotten all about Earth."
King Kai sighed.
"You have so much to attend to. It's already an honor that you noticed Earth at all."
Xia Le spoke with a smile.
"Heh, you
