Xia Le chuckled.
"Since you came looking for death, we'll oblige!"
Android 18's voice was cold.
"Let's see where that confidence comes from."
Xia Le chuckled again and beckoned them closer.
The faces of Android 17 and Android 18 darkened. They exchanged a glance, then shot toward him.
In the blink of an eye, they surrounded him from both sides and attacked.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
Their attacks came at him like a storm.
Xia Le narrowed his eyes, darting aside to dodge.
In the past, he could never have evaded attacks like these so easily. But after becoming a god, he had entered a different state.
He had a vague sense that his training was leading him toward Ultra Instinct.
That was the way gods truly fought.
A moment later, shock flashed in the eyes of Android 17 and Android 18.
Even together, they could not touch the edge of his sleeve. They were only testing him and had yet to go all out, but still.
Xia Le immersed himself in this way of fighting, a faint smile on his face.
The state resembled Observation Haki and Kami-e from the pirate world. He could instinctively sense an enemy's attacks and dodge before they landed.
He could detect even the subtlest attacks at high speed.
But at higher levels of combat power, far more was demanded of that perception. It could even force the body to change, pushing it into a stronger state.

The two kept attacking, but nothing they did worked against Xia Le.
At last, Android 17 and Android 18 realized what was happening.
"He's gotten stronger too!!"
They exchanged a grave look.
"Android 18, go all out!" Android 17 shouted.
"Right!" Android 18 answered.
With a roar, they charged at Xia Le together.
