A dull collision rang out. The ground cracked, then split like glass as alarming fissures rapidly spread across it.
Before another second could pass, Xia Le threw a punch of his own.
Son Goku raised a hand and blocked it.

The force spilling past him pulverized the ground behind him.
Son Goku's expression shifted slightly, and in the next instant, he vanished.
Xia Le looked up to see his opponent already in the air, his hands held at his waist.
He grinned. "Not a bad battle plan."
Dazzling blue light flared, as though a blue sun had appeared in the sky.
"Ka..."
"Me..."
"Ha!"
"Me!"
"Ha!"
Son Goku's voice shook the sky. As he shouted the final syllable, he thrust both hands forward.
The Kamehameha became a massive pillar of light that thundered down toward Xia Le at incredible speed.
It might have looked slow in the anime, but a Ki Blast actually traveled so fast that dodging it was exceedingly difficult.
Xia Le bent his knees, both feet breaking through the ground beneath him.
Then he brought his hands to his waist as well.
Blue light gathered in his palms, and a moment later, he thrust both hands forward.
Whoosh!
A blue pillar of light shot into the sky.
It was another Kamehameha.
Son Goku's gaze shifted slightly, but then he roared.
