Kuta set down his Wine Gourd and turned to find Kuina staring at him.

He touched his face and smiled. "What, is there a flower on my face? You're looking awfully hard."

"It's nothing."

Kuina came back to herself, a smile rising to her lips.

She turned toward the harbor and took a sip of tea, anticipation flashing in her eyes.

"The Desert Kingdom... It must be interesting! Hehe!"

The Freedom had already been close to the harbor. After A-Luo lowered the sails, the ship slowed, but its momentum carried it into port. It came to rest in an empty berth between several merchant ships.

Kuta had no intention of leaving his ship somewhere deserted like King Luffy and his crew.

That was why he had told A-Luo to take down the Flag.

He had no particular attachment to it.

This way, they could sail openly into proper ports. Once ashore, they only had to pay the harbor guards a small mooring fee, and they wouldn't have to worry about the ship.

With someone watching it, ordinary people and pirates alike would have a hard time sailing it away.
