They sailed for nearly an hour before finally disappearing from those waters and truly entering the thick fog.

Strangely enough, while the sea outside was not always wild, it was never completely calm, even beneath a cloudless sky.

Everyone looked up. Deep within the thick fog, a dark silhouette shaped like a ship was slowly approaching them.

Before it even drew near, they felt a faint gust of cold wind sweep over them, raising goosebumps on their skin and making them shiver involuntarily.

"Could there really be ghosts?"

Ahua stared at the distant silhouette, his voice both frightened and excited.

"If there really are ghosts, we've got to get a good look at them."

As he spoke, his eyes practically lit up.

He was the perfect example of someone who grew more excited the more frightened he became.

But he was disappointed. As the distance closed, they finally saw that the approaching vessel was nothing more than a long-abandoned wreck.

Only the countless scratches on its hull and the tattered flag atop its central mast still spoke of the pirate ship's former glory.

Kuta took one look, then withdrew his gaze.

He had sensed no presence aboard the ship, nor had his mind

picked up any trace of a ghost.
