Ahua pushed up his glasses and widened his eyes for a better look. "She really is beautiful."

"Yeah! She really is pretty."

A-Luo nodded. "But that's about it. I don't like her tail,"

he said calmly.

"Yohohoho! So this is the mermaid lady?"

"She isn't as beautiful as Kuina or Robin, but she certainly is a beauty!"

Brook looked at the mermaid onstage and chuckled, making sure to compliment Kuina

and Robin along the way.

At Brook's words, the corners of Kuina's and Robin's lips lifted slightly at the same time.

"Kuta, the Celestial Dragons are here, and we've seen the mermaid. Let's free the slaves here and leave!"

Kuina looked away and turned toward Kuta. "I don't like scenes like this."

"Yeah!"

Kuta nodded and turned toward Kuina, tenderness flashing in his eyes. He reached out to ruffle her hair and smiled. "We'll leave in a moment. I don't like it here either."

No normal person with any sense of justice would enjoy seeing human beings bought and sold like objects.

Just then, as though he had sensed something, a red glint flashed through Kuta's eyes. He turned toward the shadows below the right side of the stage.

His vision easily pierced the darkness, revealing the old man standing in the shadows.

The old man had long, wavy hair and a beard, both white, clearly marking his age. He wore glasses and had a vertical scar over his right eye.

A white cloak draped over his body.

Underneath, he wore an orange-yellow, open-front shirt, burgundy shorts, and a pair of slippers.

Wasn't this the very man they had been looking for—Dark King Rayleigh?

As though sensing something himself, Rayleigh raised his head and looked at Kuta.

Their gazes met in midair like the clashing blades
