He knew what was happening outside. After all, he was the original behind the six satellites, and all their experiences were recorded in "Bank Records," the superbrain he had created from the brain he had cut out.
Although he had separated it from himself,
the highest authority over the superbrain, Bank Records, belonged to him, and could only belong to him.
After all, it was his brain.
So the satellites' experiences were, in fact, his own experiences.
Whenever he wanted, he could instantly learn anything the satellites had done through Bank Records.
"Well! I came across something interesting and couldn't resist taking a look!"
As he spoke, Kuta shifted his gaze from Vegapunk to Kuma, who had already stepped down from the examination table, and smiled. "Uncle Kuma, I imagine you've heard about me from a certain someone!"
The only person who would call him "little Kuta" was the Okama King, Ivankov.
"He does mention you often. He said you were the greatest genius he had ever met, and that you would one day stand at the pinnacle of the world."
Recalling Ivankov's words, Kuma looked at Kuta standing in the laboratory. Even with Kuta right before him, he couldn't sense the slightest trace of his presence, as though he didn't exist at all. Wonder filled Kuma's eyes.
"I never imagined that day would come so soon. So soon it exceeded anything I could have imagined. I suspect it exceeded Ivankov's expectations, too!"
Thinking of Ivankov, Kuta couldn't help smiling.
He was the first truly powerful fighter Kuta had met in this world.
His master, Koshiro, was powerful as well, but he never revealed the slightest edge in front of Kuta. Their sparring always stopped short of going too far, and most of it was purely a contest of swordsmanship.
