The Pirate Who Saw Proficiency and Became a Legend

A crack thundered across the sky. While the marines were still hesitating, Kizaru looked toward the bow.

"Hello, Mr. Borsalino! Nice to meet you! My name is Dongze!"

The words reached Kizaru clearly, leaving the marines with him momentarily stunned. Who had said that? Dongze sounded familiar, but who was he?

Someone soon remembered and cried out, "Oh no! It's the Sword Emperor!"

The adjutant hurriedly shouted, "Everyone, on guard!"

They were marines from Marine Headquarters, after all. Their training showed: in less than twenty seconds, every one of them had drawn a weapon and was staring grimly at the tall figure on the bow.

Kizaru waved for the marines aboard his ship to lower their weapons. Against someone of this caliber, guns were next to useless.

"Could you turn back?"

A battle erupted aboard a warship in the first half of the Grand Line.

Before the marines could make sense of his words, Conqueror's Haki swept across the entire warship. The Vice Admiral-level adjutant felt an immense pressure descend from the heavens, crushing him like a mountain. His legs gave out, and he collapsed onto the deck. All around him, the marines had lost consciousness in an instant.
