Dongze Battles Imu / The Sword Returns; Imu Strikes

Who knew? If Dongze could not defeat his opponent, there was no telling whether that opponent would attack them after the battle ended. So they all returned to their respective positions and began observing.

The lower-ranking Marines and pirates saw their leaders stop fighting. For a moment, they too left the battlefield and returned to their respective positions.

However, there were exceptions on the battlefield: Kuina, Robin, and Shi Xuan. Taking advantage of several of their opponents having their Devil Fruit abilities sealed, the three joined forces and killed the rest.

Roger also took advantage of Garp's momentary distraction to rescue Ace.

But Garp's thoughts were no longer focused on Roger. He did not stop Roger from rescuing Ace.

He knew who had arrived. It was one of the World Government's hidden top-level forces.

He had some understanding of Dongze's strength.

In fact, by this point, victory or defeat no longer held much meaning. If Imu won this battle, then Whitebeard Pirates, Roger, and the others would not be able to escape.

Roger rescuing Ace would merely be superfluous.

If Dongze won, it would mean the World Government was doomed. The five old fellows in the open could not suppress the entire sea.

"Kid, let this old man see whether you can shoulder this sea!"

"Kid! It's over!"

Imu gave a cold shout, and the entire sky shattered. This attack contained the power of more than a dozen Devil Fruits. Its violent force even blasted space into nothingness.

Standing atop the Execution Platform before the Three Admirals' seats, Garp looked at the attack before him and muttered, "It has already surpassed ordinary Divine Realm Power!"

If an awakened Devil Fruit ability released power equivalent to ten, then power cultivated in the Divine Realm would be roughly twenty.
