Though the tall, strange Fish-Men frightened her, Koala forced a smile and bowed in thanks.

A vicious-looking sawshark Fish-Man with a long, jagged nose stood on deck, cursing impatiently.

"Hey, Arlong, calm down. We're just doing someone a favor," Fisher Tiger said.

From the day he founded the Sun Pirates, he had forbidden killing, hoping to bridge the divide between the Fish-Men aboard and humans.

But three years later, the most radical among them, Arlong, hadn't changed at all. If anything, his views on humans had grown even more extreme.
