Lightning flashed and thunder boomed, while the smell of scorching filled Ace's nostrils.

Enel's figure had already appeared behind him. His long legs were wrapped in silver-white arcs of electricity, and his Justice cloak billowed behind him.

The dazzling silver light made his young face look pale, and a size-42 shoe slammed into it.

Enel didn't stop there. He vanished from his original position again, appearing directly behind Ace and delivering another flying kick.

It seemed as though everything that had just happened had been nothing more than an illusion. In the blink of an eye, Ace was back where he had started.
