A clear, dragonlike cry rang out. A blood-red blade flashed, and the entire space seemed to freeze beneath its pressure.

Wade looked up, and beads of sweat poured down his face.

Did this guy have to be in such a hurry?!

"Conqueror: Thousand Slashes in an Instant!!!"

Layer upon layer of sword shadows tore through the air. Arcs of electricity danced wildly as the attack arrived in an instant.

A blur swept past. The blade flashed, and Atlas suddenly appeared behind Wade.

Clang—!!!

She withdrew her blade and sheathed it.

Wade went rigid. He lowered his head in disbelief, his gaze beginning to lose focus.

Hiss, hiss, hiss—!!

Jets of blood shot out as wounds appeared across his body, then rapidly healed. The flesh beneath his skin gradually shriveled.

Before his old wounds could heal, new ones opened.

The cycle repeated until he was as gaunt as before, with gashes crisscrossing his sharply defined ribs.

Boom—!!!

Explosive Flame erupted. A pillar of fire skimmed across the sea and swallowed Wade whole!!

The flames slowly died down. Thick white steam rose from the scorched water, mingled with black ash.

Whoosh—!!!

A sea breeze swept past, and the scene above the water gradually came into view.

Atlas hovered mere inches above the surface. Wade was nowhere to be seen.

"Strange Devil Fruit Ability, but he wasn't much of a fighter..."

She watched the ash drift down into the sea and
