They were less than a third of the way from the summit.
"Hey, Sabo, did this guy used to roam around here?"
Ace stared at the enormous creature ahead and tightened his grip on his pipe. His voice sounded strained.

It was a full-grown tiger with a magnificent coat and a savage gleam in its eyes. Its limbs were thick, and the three boys looked like toys beside it.
"No idea. When we saw him before, I think he was up on the main peak."
Sabo and Ace knew this tiger all too well. They had tangled with him often enough, though it usually ended with the boys running for their lives. He was called the King of Mount Colubo for a reason!
They had never expected to meet him again like this.
The King of Mount Colubo felt wronged, too. He had been sleeping soundly when a man with a vaguely familiar scent appeared. After a dizzying whirl, he found himself here.
"It had to be that bastard! Damn it, I'll get him for this someday!"
Ace gritted his teeth. He had clearly guessed who had deliberately put the tiger here.
"Achoo!"
At the summit, the man Ace was cursing suddenly sneezed. He rubbed his nose with his free hand, puzzled.
Is it too windy up here? Whatever. Those little guys should have run into him by now... Heh heh heh!
Atlas gave a wicked chuckle and kept turning the roasting meat in her hand.
Animal hides and scraps of entrails lay scattered across the ground beside her...
