At Ohara's harbor, a sailing ship flying the World Government flag slowly pulled alongside the shore. A wooden gangplank dropped, and government agents in black suits, armed with flintlock pistols, poured down it.
The man in charge had an unremarkable build and shaggy, medium-length black hair. He wore a long gray-and-black pinstriped coat over a dark blue suit, with the top button of his pink-orange shirt undone. His hands were buried in his trouser pockets, and impatience showed on his face.
"Tell headquarters we've arrived."
"Getting from the Red Line to the West Blue really is a pain... But this job should get me promoted, right?"
"Hey! Hurry up and get down here! Then round up every scholar on this island!"
