Kakashi, that guy...
Obito stepped forward and grabbed Kakashi.
Without another word, he dragged him toward the Small Grove.
"Go ahead and do your thing, Minato-sensei. Don't worry about us. We're off to train."
Rin smiled and waved at Minato, then followed them into the Small Grove.
"I'm going too, Minato-sensei."
Minato said with a touch of emotion,
"Obito can be unreliable sometimes, but when it matters, he knows what to do."
In the grove.
Kakashi glanced at Obito and touched his Forehead Protector.
"You know something, don't you?"
Obito played dumb.
"Know what? I have no idea what you're talking about."
Kakashi snorted and ignored him.
He shook off Obito's arm and went aside to train.
"What a stubborn guy..."
Obito pursed his lips.
He slowed down and moved closer to Rin.
"Lin-chan, what are you planning to practice today? Want me to train with you?"
Rin smiled and shook her head.
"No thanks, Obito-kun. I can train on my own."
"Oh," Obito said reluctantly.
"All right. Call me anytime if you need a sparring partner."
"Mm-hmm."
Obito watched wistfully as Rin walked away.
He sighed and began his own training.
But it wasn't long
before he got bored.
He glanced at Kakashi nearby.
His eyes darted about, and he walked over with a mischievous grin.
Kakashi saw Obito approaching.
His brow creased slightly, and he sheathed his Short Sword.
"What?"
Obito grinned at him.
"Come here, Kakashi. I want to show you something."
Kakashi's interest stirred.
After glancing around, he murmured without changing his expression,
"Rin's still nearby. Isn't that a little inappropriate?"
Obito: "???"
Wait.
What does this guy think I'm going to show him?
What difference does it make whether Rin's nearby?
Obito gave him a speechless look.
"What are you thinking? It's something perfectly decent.
