Fukasaku stood nearby and said with a warm smile.
"You've completed your training admirably. It's time for you to leave."
Obito felt reluctant to go.
"Ah, but..."
Fukasaku hopped onto Obito's shoulder and reached out to pat his head.
"Little Obito, all good things must come to an end. Don't be too sad."
"Your 'friends' are still waiting for you. Hurry back to them."
When he said the word "friends,"
Fukasaku paused slightly, but Obito didn't notice.
Fukasaku continued.
"And if you miss us, you can come back anytime. You'll always be welcome at Mount Myōboku."
Obito nodded firmly.
"I understand, Sage Fukasaku."
"Thank you and Sage Shima for looking after me all this time. Please say goodbye to her for me."
Once again, Fukasaku patted Obito's head, pleased.
Little Obito is a good boy...
Jiraiya led Obito away from Mount Myōboku.
Looking at the somewhat dejected Obito, he said.
"You worked hard during this month of training. Let's find somewhere to celebrate your return."
Obito's eyes lit up.
"Somewhere like that place last time?"
Jiraiya gave him a sly smile.
"No, somewhere even better."
A day later.
The two lay side by side on beach loungers.
Two pretty young women stood beside them, massaging their shoulders and legs.
"Whew, Lord Jiraiya, you really know how to enjoy life."
Jiraiya laughed heartily.
"Hahaha, of course."
"Well? Doesn't it feel like all your exhaustion has vanished in an instant?"
Obito hummed contentedly.
"It does, it does. I feel like a whole new person."
After the two young women left.
Obito's eyes darted around before he asked with a mischievous grin.
"Lord Jiraiya, is there a woman you like?"
Jiraiya froze for a moment.
He apparently hadn't expected Obito to ask him something like that.
After a moment of consideration, he said.
