The Land of Rain.
Outside the hidden village of the Akatsuki.
Yahiko took Obito's hand and gently patted his shoulder.
"Little brother, you have a long journey home. Take care of yourself."
Obito chuckled.
"Brother Yahiko, once I open Kamui, I can get back to Konoha in a flash."
Yahiko let go of his hand, at a loss for words.
"We finally had a proper farewell going, and you ruined it."
Obito kept grinning.
"Because it isn't really goodbye. I can come over whenever I have time. We can have a meal together, and then I'll head back."
Nagato said enviously,
"Your Dōjutsu really is convenient, little brother."
The other three rolled their eyes in unison.
Come on.
Keep showing off like that and you're going to get punched!
"Oh, right," Obito said suddenly. "Brother, sister."
"Don't let your guard down. Watch out in case whoever's behind this strikes again."
Yahiko nodded.
"Don't worry. We'll be careful."
A cold smile appeared on Nagato's face.
"I almost hope they come. Then I can avenge Daibutsu and the others."
"Nagato..."
Konan sighed softly and squeezed Nagato's shoulder.
Obito took out a slip of paper and handed it to Nagato.
"Brother Nagato, you haven't fully mastered the Rinnegan's Dōjutsu yet."
"This has information about the other abilities. You can practice them when you have time."
Nagato took the paper and smiled.
"Thank you, little brother. I will."
Konan stepped forward and hugged Obito.
"Thank you for everything you've done for us these past few days, little brother."
Obito saw Yahiko's fierce glare.
And Nagato's gaze, deep as an abyss.
Wisely, he let go of Konan at once.
"No need to thank me, sister. Have you forgotten? I'm a member of the Akatsuki now too."
Once Obito released Konan,
Yahiko and Nagato smiled warmly
