Background / History

Wang Yan is a descendant of the Fengbei Royal Family. His family was destroyed by the Yu family, who sought the Wang family’s powerful hereditary bloodline. His father, Wang Jian, and sister, Wang Ying, survived, but the family was left scattered and endangered. 99 202 205

The Wang family calls its inheritance the Mad God Bloodline, while outsiders call it the Demon Bloodline. Family records describe a true awakening as “Flame Veils the Sky, God Beyond Control,” but Wang Yan initially believes his violent surges may not be a complete awakening. 99

His family’s destruction gives him a lasting desire to destroy the Yu family. Though Chen Xian repeatedly urges restraint until they possess sufficient strength, Wang Yan remains committed to revenge. 99 205 306
