He walked onto the field and looked at Latios lying off to one side. "Thank you for all your hard work."

"Woo..." Latios lowered his head and gave a sorrowful cry.

"It's all right." Tobias gently stroked him, then recalled him into his Poké Ball. Looking up at the boundless deep-blue sky, he laughed again. "A new beginning, huh?"

"That's right. A new beginning." After recalling Beedrill, Dian gazed at the sky and let out a soft sigh. He reached out to shake Tobias's hand, then headed out of the stadium with an indescribable feeling stirring within him.

Beneath the azure sky, the fierce battles continued. The Sacred Fire blazed at the center, awaiting the arrival of the final moment!

"The second semifinal of the Ever Grande Conference is reaching fever pitch!" Takeshi looked down at the two Trainers. "Ayaka and Liangguang each have just one Pokémon left. Who will emerge victorious—

"Cheering for your own opponents? You really don't have a care in the world." Latias gently smoothed her long blue hair.

"Who will I spend the very end with—the final moments of this tournament? I can't wait to find out." Dian leaned back in his seat, feeling a sense of relaxation he hadn't known in a long time. "This tournament has already left me satisfied."

"Salamence, huh?" Ayaka gazed at the imposing Salamence opposite her as he roared toward the heavens. Her eyes were grave at first, but a moment later, they brimmed with boundless confidence. "Salamence is strong. No, incredibly strong. But this battle is mine!"
