If this city had to be described in a single sentence, it would be a metropolis where water and greenery, old streets and modern buildings blended in perfect harmony.
A place blessed by both Celebi and the Legendary Beasts.
The city's defining landmark was now the central tower of Kodai Network World, standing in the very heart of the city and proclaiming its supremacy!
"Nice building." Dressed in casual clothes and half-rim glasses, Dian walked through the entrance of Kodai Network World carrying a slim black laptop.
Ding.
As the automatic doors slid open to either side, he glanced at the crowds in suits bustling through the lobby, then casually found a sofa and sat down.
"What kind of Pokémon Egg is this, anyway?" From the ordinary backpack he almost always carried, Dian took out a cylindrical incubator. Inside lay a Pokémon Egg patterned with purple markings and radiating an air of mystery.
"Judging by the markings and shape, it looks a little like..." As he gazed at the tiny life before him, his thoughts drifted elsewhere.
A month earlier, after the tournament ended, he had collected the Champion's prizes prepared by the Hoenn League tournament committee: one million League Dollars, a championship trophy, and a Pokémon Egg.
Then, after seeing Dawn off and getting together with his friends, he had submitted an application to the Kanto League to establish his own research institute.
But he had only been halfway through preparing the paperwork when Rumi called again. The search warrant for Kodai Network World had been issued, so he had rushed straight to Crown City in the Sinnoh Region.
Dian examined the Pokémon Egg once more and prepared to put it away. Different kinds of Pokémon Eggs took different
