No one knew what the delegation sent by the League had discussed with the king of Azoth, who almost never governed, just as no one knew about the series of events on Nebel Plateau.
An early summer rain suddenly descended upon the land. The people gradually forgot why Jervis had not appeared on television for so long, why Crown Princess Jimiya now held a scepter, and where Prince Lakel was. In the end, such matters were far too removed from their lives.
Their eyes rested only on the summer rain outside their windows, a faint thought drifting through their minds...
When will the rain stop?
More than ten days later, the belated summer rain finally stopped. The League delegation and the king of Azoth departed with it.
The kingdom returned to its usual state. Its mechanical gears turned as always, while people came and went like flowing water.
Boom!
With a roar, an airship bound for Lumiose City in the Kalos Region rose into the sky. After hovering briefly, it plunged into the clouds and vanished.
"Sir, would you like coffee, or...?"
The lightly made-up flight attendant bowed just enough, a thoroughly professional smile on her lips. She curiously studied the man in the seat and the Misdreavus by the window, who was frightening the Pokémon migrating back.
Dian lowered his newspaper and waved a hand. "Thank you, nothing for now." Ignoring the look Misdreavus cast back at him, secretly signaling that she wanted snacks, he added, "Nothing for my Pokémon either."
Misdreavus immediately puffed out her cheeks. "Mmm—" As she made the sound, her cheeks swelled like a pufferfish, looking positively threatening.
The attendant nodded, unable to resist another glance at Misdreavus. She covered her mouth with a smile before turning to leave.
Without any
