The Zubat leader flapped its wings, trying to blow the powder away. Unfortunately, that brief delay had already given Dian's Pokémon enough time to react.

Thick yellow powder rained down from above, blanketing the area.

Dian ran straight behind Misdreavus. His previous position was no longer safe.

Hoppip leaped up quickly and used Fairy Wind.

Although it had spent most of its time lately focusing on its three powder moves, it had not neglected its training in Synthesis and Fairy Wind.

A compact whirlwind shot toward the space ahead of Zubat, reaching it almost instantly. It barely disturbed the nearby leaves, but every branch and leaf in its path was swept inside and shredded.

A mass of air carrying shredded leaves and splintered wood blocked Zubat's way. Several sharp gusts were already approaching from behind. Before their sound reached it, countless white afterimages flashed into view, with deep blue light gleaming among them.

Zubat's heart clenched. It knew that even if it had to take the Fairy Wind head-on, it could not let the Poison Sting behind it hit.

Its own poisonous instincts told it that this venom was potent enough to border
