So that was it. This Nosepass knew Electric-type moves all along, but had been pretending otherwise.

Its aim was simple: pretend to be exhausted, lure out people like them with ill intentions, then finish them off in one fell swoop. The water underfoot had actually helped it!

It wasn't that Nosepass refused to fight back. It had deliberately guided Poliwag into preparing its hunting ground. It truly lived up to its reputation as a predator of the cave depths—Nosepass!

Nosepass had also discovered Dian long ago by sensing the magnetic field.

Dian suddenly raised his head and, for an instant, met the eyes of the seemingly exhausted Nosepass.

Nosepass's eyes held icy contempt, the look of an apex predator toying with a clown.

Threads of electric sparks quickly began flickering across its body. For a moment, the cave suddenly fell silent, and the crackle of electricity echoed in everyone's hearts.

"Nose!!"

Nosepass let out an enraged roar and unleashed the lightning it had been building up for so long!

A bunch of pathetic clowns dared to target it. They really didn't know their own limits.

Boom!

A soundless explosion.

The water on the ground erupted, and a hazy cloud of steam spread with it.

Countless streaks of golden electricity crossed the considerable distance in an instant and struck Poliwag. In that single moment, it was knocked out!

Next came Tomoya, his face stricken with horror.

Suddenly, the entire cave shook violently, and small stones began falling from the ceiling.

Thud!

By sheer coincidence, a huge rock landed in front of Tomoya, blocking the lightning surging toward him.

But that didn't mean he was safe. For some unknown reason, the cave was suddenly about to collapse.

Thud, thud!

A figure with a metallic sheen suddenly emerged through the dust. It stamped
