"Mis..."
Misdreavus gazed curiously at the murals and strange writing beside her.
Dian merely glanced at them before continuing forward.
Although he was curious about what the writing recorded, his safety mattered more.
Miss Misdreavus clung tightly to Dian's hair, reining in her curiosity.
Her glittering, ruby-red eyes remained fixed on the various pictures and the strange writing beside them, clearly entranced.
"Zzt!"
Zubat suddenly cried out and stopped flying forward, hovering in place—or rather, she had no choice but to stop, because there was no way ahead.
Dian stopped at the end of the passage, frowning at the golden doors ahead, which met the walls on either side without a gap.
They, too, were covered in strange writing, with a mural of a person holding something at their center.
Dian sighed. He did not want to touch anything here. If he had not needed to conserve Misdreavus's strength for battle, he would not even have wanted to stand on the floor; floating would have been best. Clearly, though, that was not an option now.
"Going by the usual pattern, the mechanism should be somewhere beside it."
Dian put on his gloves, then began feeling around the wall beside him.
The moment his hand touched the wall—
Boom!
A massive torrent of information surged straight into his mind.
By the time Dian came to his senses, he found himself sitting on the floor, drenched in cold sweat, with no idea when he had sat down.
He drew a deep breath and immediately took a cotton towel from his backpack to wipe his forehead.
"Napolant, the legendary Blue Sky Country."
Dian now understood why he could read this world's writing. His cheat had been quietly working from the very beginning, saving him from becoming an illiterate transmigrator.
He looked around again.
