"How is God involved in this too?" Roland looked suspiciously at Lucifer. "You haven't met the old man, have you?"
"How could I? If I saw him, I'd stab him straight through the chest with the Flaming Sword!" Lucifer said unhappily, then changed the subject. "If you have the time, come to Los Angeles. I have a bar there."
"Sure. I'll go when I have some free time." Roland gave him a perfunctory reply.
After this incident, he no longer wanted anything to do with Lucifer. If he got dragged into something again, it would be too late for him to cry.
Still, the matter had ended fairly smoothly. Resolving the Metal Event ahead of time meant the trip had not been in vain.
"I'll be leaving first." A pair of pure-white wings sprouted from Lucifer's back, and he flapped away.
"See that? Even Lucifer has better manners than you. At least he says something before leaving." Roland spoke to Batman.
Batman did not want to pay attention to Roland, but he could not withstand Witch Circe constantly pestering him, so he had no choice but to make small talk with Roland.
"No wonder she's the foremost loser of the Age of Gods." Roland looked at Witch Circe acting like Batman's devoted simp and could not help sighing.
"You're done here. When are you planning to leave?" Wonder Woman said to Witch Circe. "Are you waiting for someone to escort you?"
"I advise you not to meddle, you miraculous Piglet." Witch Circe's face darkened.
"This woman really does have a bad temper. After all, she suffered such a huge setback in love—"
Deadpool whispered beside Wonder Woman's ear.
"And who are you?" Wonder Woman stared blankly at the overly familiar man.
"So this bastard is here too? I didn't even
