"I am your father. You belong to me!" The red shadow took solid form: dark red skin, four scarlet eyes, and grotesquely twisted antlers. Demon Trigon had descended upon the world.
But even he was a little bewildered. Since when had he had two daughters?
"I belong only to myself!" A gigantic raven phantom circled above Raven's head.
"She belongs to me, and so does your power!" the other Raven, who had four eyes, sneered.
"Damn it, what's going on?"
"Raven has magic inside her that can rival yours. You orchestrated this ritual to release that power and use it for yourself, didn't you?" Deadpool began explaining. "The original Raven might indeed have fallen under your control when facing you. But if a Magic Circle split her light and dark sides in two—"
"Her light side has a righteous will and won't serve you."
"Her evil side is utterly greedy. Not only will she refuse to give you her power, she'll want to take your place!"
"Now it's just a matter of whose fists hit harder."
"Wait, why did you just explain all that?" Roland asked, taken aback.
"The mood called for it, didn't it?" Deadpool explained. "You guys fight Demon Trigon. I'll handle the commentary."
"How amusing." Dark Raven glanced at Deadpool. "Once I conquer this world, I'll make you my court jester."
"That sounds amazing!" Deadpool perked up and moved to Dark Raven's side. "Your Majesty, you'd better win!"
"Whose side is he actually on?" Raven asked in confusion.
"Whoever wins," Roland said.
"Enough! Your futile struggle ends here!" An aura of supreme evil surged from Demon Trigon and spread in every direction.
