Wonder Woman had barely exchanged two rounds with Steppenwolf when golden-red lightning heralded The Flash's arrival.
The sight of the two of them made even Wonder Woman glance their way.
Batman wasted no words. He immediately unfastened his seat and sent a black Batarang straight at Steppenwolf's head.
"A powerful Guardian..." Steppenwolf split the Batarang with his axe, startled by the force it carried.
"The powerful one isn't here yet. Be patient." Batman tore apart two Parademons that dared approach him and smiled.
"Then you can entertain me first!" Seizing an opening, Steppenwolf surged forward and swung his axe at Batman, who blocked it with his Armament Haki-coated chair.
The weapons collided with a tremendous impact, triggering a small earthquake on Themyscira.
Batman was slightly weaker and had to retreat a dozen steps before dissipating the force of Steppenwolf's blow.
"Am I late?" Superman descended from the sky. Roland and Jason collapsed off to one side as soon as they landed. Some Parademons took them for easy targets and moved in to try their luck.
"Don't underestimate me." Roland seized a Parademon by the throat and lifted him into the air.
"Zeus, Ares, Apollo, full power!" Jason's crowbar grew over ten meters long, crackling with the power of lightning and fire,
and plowed through the Parademons.
"Now that he's here, I'll handle the grunts." Batman began clearing out the Parademons.
"Same here." The Flash darted among the Parademons with his Super-Speed, dropping a whole swath of them in an instant.
"Now I'm the one who's really late." Green Lantern descended from the sky, creating simple weapons to cut down the Parademons.
"Guardians, struggle all you like. You are destined to fail to protect this world." Watching the superheroes slaughter his Parademons in a one-sided battle, Steppenwolf charged at them
