"What's with that look?" Teen Titans Go Trigon scratched his head, puzzled by the terror on Arella's face.
"You—Trigon—how did you—" Arella went pale, terrified that Raven had fallen under his sway. "You evil bastard! How dare you!"
"No, wait. What did I do?" Teen Titans Go Trigon looked baffled. What had he done to Arella to make her look at him like that?
"Mom, he isn't the Demon Trigon from our Universe," Raven hurried to explain. "He's not that bad, either."
"What do you mean, not that bad? Am I not a good dad?" Teen Titans Go Trigon looked hurt.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Raven's face twitched.
"Maybe being locked up so long has messed with his head," Roland guessed.
"Could be," Jason said with a nod.
Arella was dumbstruck. It felt as though she were still in Demon Trigon's grasp, with him toying with her body and mind—
Seeing this, Raven cast a calming spell on her, then explained that the Trigons of the two worlds were not the same.
After Raven talked her through it, Arella accepted the explanation—or perhaps she simply preferred believing it to believing this was yet another of Trigon's schemes and illusions.
"Let me get back to my story." Arella sighed deeply and shot Teen Titans Go Trigon a glare.
"Uh, I think we can skip the part before our daughter was born—" Trigon blushed. His skin was already red, though, so nobody noticed.
Roland nodded. With a kid present, they could skip Raven's recruitment video.
Arella ignored them and continued. "I can't lie. I loved him, cherished him, admired him. For the first time in my lonely life, I felt loved, protected, needed. He took me as his bride, and we were married before the priests of Satan."
"Arella..."
