"Never let Roland near Sinestro again," Green Lantern sighed.

"That's not fair. Look at Lex Luthor. Isn't he getting dumber by the day?" Superman said.

"Nonsense. My second brother is brilliant," Roland shot back. Lex Luthor was the smartest person after him. How could he be dumb?

"Since when is he your second brother?" Green Lantern asked, baffled. Did Roland and Lex Luthor have that kind of relationship?

"He's the second-smartest person in the world," Roland explained. "And I'm the first."

"Are you joking?" The Flash froze. They knew how intelligent Lex Luthor was, and calling him the second-smartest person in the world wasn't much of a stretch. But Roland, the smartest?

They might as well let the world end. The thought was terrifying.

"What's with that look? You don't believe me?" Roland glanced at The Flash. "It's not like you haven't witnessed my world-shaking intellect."

"It certainly shook something..."

While the others muttered among themselves, Batman moved on with the main plot. He intercepted Bob, who was carrying a paper bag.

[Bob didn't want to make this guy angry—but he'd promised his son they would spend Christmas together.]

"Still think you can run?" Batman hurled a rope around Bob's ankle and yanked him to the ground.

The paper bag fell from Bob's hand, spilling a stack of dollar bills.

[As for old Scrooge, don't even mention time off to him. He had other plans. Christmas was just another ordinary day.]

"Please—don't—I have a kid! Don't hurt me!" Bob dropped to his knees, begging in terror.

"Then tell me where he is," Batman said in a low voice.
