"Wait, you just went to look around an abandoned hotel and ran into Darkseid?" Roland was stunned. Even though they had repeatedly assured him they were telling the truth, he still thought this was a Halloween story they had made up.
"Yeah." Jason nodded. "That's what happened."
"A ghost from Apokolips showed up here..." Roland sighed in wonder. "So Earth really is the center of the universe, and Gotham City is the center of Earth."
"Then our Roland Cathedral is the center of Gotham City," Astra said.
"You could say that." Batman nodded.
"Wait, aren't we missing someone?" As Roland looked over the group, he suddenly felt something was missing. "Where's Francis?"
"Central City," Jason said. "She said she was going to rescue Mirror Master."
"The Rogues really do look out for their own..." Roland nodded. "That Bloody Mary... can she handle her?"
"Although she can break through Darkseid's defenses, she put all her stat points into penetration, so she isn't that hard to deal with," Jason said after some thought. "Francis should be fine."
"Oh, good, then."
Central City.
"What? You've already lost contact with Mirror Master?" Francis had found the Rogues, but they all said they hadn't seen him.
"Damn it, that bastard didn't go off on his own, did he?" Captain Cold frowned and cursed under his breath.
"Well, this is bad." Francis shook her head and sighed. "Poor Mirror Master. He's probably already become that woman's lunch."
"Don't be so pessimistic. Maybe he hasn't entered the Mirror World yet—or hasn't run into that Bloody Mary you mentioned," Captain Cold said. He called Pied Piper and asked him to check with the Police Department for any recent cases.
"There's only been one robbery, at Big Belly Burger," Pied Piper said. "It happened ten minutes ago."
"All right.
