"Shauna, how did you—how did you do that?" the judge, Miss Xaviera, asked in shock.
"Make my voice sound like yours?" Shauna laughed. "I'm a ventriloquist, Miss Xaviera. A one-of-a-kind ventriloquist."
"Hey, I think Arnold Wesker is better than you." Stephanie arrived just then and hurled a Batarang.
But the Batarang stopped in midair.
"Hey, look at that. This hot chick even brought a little toy." Puppet Freddy cackled, and the suspended Batarang suddenly shot back toward Stephanie even faster.
"What?!" Stephanie hurriedly dodged, but the Batarang still cut her arm.
"Telekinesis?" Robin, who was providing technical support backstage, had seen this before. Not only that, he and Annie had fought alongside Astra. He immediately ran toward Stephanie.
"Hey, look over here, bat-face! You've got a lovely pair of eyes!" Puppet Freddy flew up, jabbing both hands toward Stephanie's eyes. "Mind if I take them?"
"Damn it, he's strong!" Stephanie grabbed Puppet Freddy with all her strength and twisted him aside.
"Aaagh! Rejected by a girl again!" The nails in Puppet Freddy's hands stabbed into the ground. "Hey, if you hadn't made such a fuss, we could've drilled a much prettier hole!"
Stephanie wasn't the kind of reckless idiot who charged in knowing she was outmatched. She quickly retreated, calling Robin for backup while putting distance between herself and Shauna.
Puppet Freddy flew back into Shauna's hand, and they continued into the theater with Miss Xaviera as their hostage.
"Kid, listen. That English guy was right," Puppet Freddy said. "Nobody wants to watch a show like this. That's the reality these days. Who's more famous, those flash-in-the-pan stars—or Joker?"
"Ah..." Shauna sighed.
"You need to get a little red on you, Shauna," Puppet Freddy continued. "Cut off some flesh as a lovely keepsake."
