With Christmas approaching, Gotham City was enveloped in a peaceful atmosphere, and hymns drifted through Roland Cathedral.

"Why does this hymn sound so off?" Jeanne d'Arc muttered. "The tune sounds familiar, but the lyrics are kind of weird—"

"Ahem, it's a local folk song. Don't you think it suits Gotham City?" Roland explained.

"That creepy vibe certainly suits Gotham." Jeanne d'Arc pressed a hand to her forehead. "It's Christmas Eve today. Do you really have to stir up something strange even on a holiday like this?"

"I think it's fine," Dr. Roman said lazily. "At least it's lively."

"Oh, shut up," Jeanne d'Arc snapped. This guy was getting more unrestrained by the day.

Dr. Roman pursed his lips. This was nothing. Back when he was King Solomon, he'd done things that betrayed God far more than this. He'd simply repented in his later years.

"Nice song. It'd be even more fitting if you sang it at Arkham Asylum or in Underground Gotham," Batman quipped.

"What brings you here?" Roland asked curiously. "And with the whole family in tow, too."

"Isn't your church preparing Christmas presents? I was worried I wouldn't have time tomorrow, so I came to pick them up early."

"—These are all for sale," Roland said. "I was going to ask you for a Christmas present myself."

"Then you really might not have time." A raven and a white dove descended from the sky, landing and revealing their true forms: the strongest man in the world and his brother.
