A few hours earlier.
Roland traveled all over Earth, delivering presents to quite a few people.
However, since the gifts Santa Claus's sack could produce depended on how earnestly people wanted their wishes fulfilled, the presents strangers received were rather halfhearted.
Of course, that also had something to do with the Christmas stockings they left by their beds. People who put some thought into it deserved better presents, didn't they?
"So you just give out whatever you feel like?" The Flash couldn't help asking when he saw Roland pull out what was clearly a woman's wig at the foot of a teenage boy's bed.
"Uh... this really is what he wanted." Roland shrugged. "The kid wanted a blonde beauty. I can't exactly traffic people, can I? So he'll have to settle for part of a blonde beauty."
"...You might as well buy him a doll," Wally quipped.
"Hey!" The Flash covered Wally's mouth. "What are you saying? He's just a kid."
"Isn't he the same age as me?"
"You're a kid too."
"Oh, come on. Didn't you know this guy was hitting on that young widowed scientist back at S.T.A.R. Labs?" Roland exposed Wally's history with older women on the spot.
"Nothing happened between us!" Wally hurried to explain.
"Right, just some kissing and hugging." Roland shrugged.
"That's all right, then." The Flash sighed in relief. "You're still a little too young for certain things."
"Can we please skip this topic?" Wally felt a little guilty. He was terrified his uncle would tell his aunt about this.
"You little..."
After circling Earth several times, the three sat down in a church in New York. Since it was Christmas, there was a generous free meal on offer.
"Isn't it a little inappropriate for us to eat this much at their buffet?"
