Li Jiong sat cross-legged on the ground. Four dragons formed by his Green Lantern Ring circled him, radiating astonishing power.
"How does it feel?" Roland asked Green Lantern as he watched Li Jiong.
"Even among Green Lanterns, he has one of the greatest talents I've ever seen," Green Lantern said in admiration. "I think I know why the Guardians sent me to meet him."
"Don't you think something's off about him right now?" The Flash asked.
"He's torn between being a Dragon Emperor Guardian and a Green Lantern," Green Lantern said. "A Green Lantern's duties clash with what his master taught him."
"To seek power, accept glory, or desire nothing," Roland said. "That's the question."

"He cannot profane the Dragon Emperor's sacred power! He has no choice!"
"He does have a choice! This power was given to him. It's his responsibility, his duty and his calling to use it!"
"Both of you, shut up!" Li Jiong shattered the two images. "You're nothing but nightmares fighting inside my head!"
