"I didn't see it." The Flash shook his head. "But I did feel something there."

"Maybe it's because Hal and I are a little different," Roland said after a moment's thought.

"Whew..." Green Lantern slowly let out a breath. "Done."

"That's it?" Roland asked in confusion. "Where are all the special effects?"

"What special effects were you expecting?" Green Lantern said. "Still, I did gain quite a bit from it."

"Like what?"

"A cleansing of the soul." Green Lantern made it sound rather mystical. "The Dragon Emperor really lives up to his reputation."

As he spoke, Green Lantern tossed his ring to Roland, then focused his will and formed another Lantern Ring on his hand.

"Whoa..." The Flash froze. "That's impressive."

"Well, this is Hal. It's nothing unusual for him," Roland said. There was precedent for it, after all.

"You think that highly of Hal?" As a Blue Lantern, The Flash knew no less about Green Lantern Rings than Green Lantern himself did. He knew all too well how incredible that feat was.

"Of course." Roland nodded. The greatest Green Lantern in history hadn't earned that title for nothing.

"Now that we're done here, when are you two planning to leave?" The Flash asked.

"Let's stay a little longer," Green Lantern said. "Besides, there's somewhere else I need to go before heading back—another world."

"Huh? Why didn't you mention that before we came?" The Flash asked, taken aback.

"I received the message here. A distress signal from another Green Lantern, sent across universes," Green Lantern said. "Want to come with me?"

"A distress signal across universes? Sounds like something big," Roland said.

"That's what I think, too, so I have to go." Green Lantern nodded. "If it turns into a Multiverse-level disaster, we'll have a real problem."
