"Enough talking! Help me hold off these vampires while I go after Mary!" Bennett roared, transforming into a giant wolf and charging after Mary.
"Hold off these vampires? Me?" Constantine looked down at the thousand-odd vampires spreading their wings below him, their eyes blood-red, and felt his scalp prickle. "Won't I die?"
"Tch, useless human. Stand back and let me, Flint, feast on him." A vampire who had lived for over a century flew toward Constantine.
"Wait, why are you coming straight at me? Come on! That's not how Hellblazer works! You're supposed to set a cunning trap, then I spot a flaw and bring my friends along to figure out how to kill you. Then it turns out the flaw was fake and gets my friends killed, and finally I defeat you in an all-or-nothing gamble! I throw you into Hell, and you spend every day plotting revenge! Why are you just coming right at me? This isn't how Hellblazer works at all! I refuse to accept it!"
"What are you babbling about?" Flint dodged the bullets, grabbed Constantine, and lunged for his neck. "Time to die."
"You really think I'm a pushover?" A huge ball of light appeared in Constantine's hand.
"What is that thing?" Flint gasped, feeling his strength rapidly drain away.
"This little thing is magic. A little Ancient Celtic magic mixed with some Native American stuff." Constantine lit himself a cigarette with one hand, then pulled out a shotgun and pressed it against Flint's head. "Now, you're a vampire, and this Little Sun I made has already drained most of your powers. Traditionally, I should drive a stake through your heart and chop off your head—but this will have to do."
"When you get where you're going, say hi to my old pals for Constantine."
