Seeing the smug look on Harvey's face, Roland couldn't resist giving him the middle finger.
"Can't help it. I was born this way. Being jealous won't do you any good." Harvey shrugged.

After dinner, the three returned to Church. Harvey took a document envelope from his car and handed it to Roland. "Here, your housewarming gift."
"Oh, there's a gift too? What is it?" Roland opened the envelope right in front of Harvey.
"I took care of all the legal procedures your church needed. There are no outstanding legal disputes now, and you own the land underneath it too," Harvey said.
"Holy shit." Roland's first reaction wasn't delight but alarm. He asked quietly, "Isn't this a little too shady? If the land bureau finds out, won't you end up in prison?"
"What are you talking about? You think I stole public land?" Harvey rolled his eyes. "I checked who owned the property and found out it was under Bruce's name. He just didn't remember owning it."
"When I told him, he said to transfer it straight to you as his gift."
