After several days of intensive training, Manectric finally gained control over the power gained from evolving.

The move created a terrain filled with Electric-type energy, boosting the power of a Pokémon's Electric-type moves.

In Bai Shi's vision, it was the perfect partner for Charge.

Bai Shi intended to combine Electric Terrain with Charge, creating a combination move like High-Speed Crush Claw.

Perhaps it was because Manectric lacked proficiency with the move.

At first, the Electric Terrain Manectric created was still a "half-finished product."

Not only did it cover a small area, but it also lasted for an extremely short time.

It was completely unusable in an actual battle, let alone ready to be combined with Charge.

As time passed, the training finally began to show some progress.

Manectric could now create an Electric Terrain that covered more than half a standard battlefield.

Its duration had also increased from a dozen or so seconds to nearly half a minute.

With Manectric's speed, that was enough to exchange several rounds of attacks with an opponent.

Only after Manectric became sufficiently proficient did Bai Shi begin trying to combine Electric Terrain with Charge.

He instructed Manectric to use the modified version of Charge immediately after setting up Electric Terrain.

Combined with the Lightning Rod ability, this would draw the Electric-type energy within the terrain into Manectric's body, boosting the power of Electric-type moves.

In theory, as long as Electric Terrain remained active, the power of Manectric's Electric-type moves could keep increasing.

Bai Shi named this move Electric Domain, a clear sign of his ambition.

However, the current Electric Domain fell far short of the effect he had imagined.
