Following the map, Bai Shi arrived at a tranquil lake.

The clear water reflected the blue sky and white clouds like a mirror.

A few light blue ducks were splashing around on the lake.

When they spotted a stranger approaching, they hurriedly paddled away as fast as their feet could carry them.

These Pokémon were called Ducklett. They were Water- and Flying-types, with Keen Eye, Big Pecks, and Hydration as their abilities. Their final evolution was Swanna.

If Bai Shi hadn't obtained any Pokémon yet, he would have done whatever it took to catch one of them.

Now, however, he had a solid team and no longer caught every Pokémon he came across.

A Swanna with Hydration would certainly fit the requirements of a Rain Team.

Still, Bai Shi wasn't particularly interested in that sort of Pokémon.

He had come here specifically for the Tympole line.

He wasn't considering any other Pokémon for the time being.

Pokémon from the Tympole line were fairly common in the Unova Region.

They could be found in practically any lake in the wild.

As such, Bai Shi was confident that he could catch a Tympole or Palpitoad with Swift Swim here.

Drawing on his fishing experience at Lake Verity, Bai Shi had specially prepared plenty of Poffins suited to Water-type Pokémon's tastes.

He broke the Poffins into little pieces and scattered them into the lake.

He hoped to use them to lure Pokémon from the Tympole line out of hiding at the bottom.

But before any Tympole took the bait, the Ducklett that had swum away came racing back in a flash.

Before Bai Shi could react, the Ducklett had nearly polished off all the Poffins he had thrown in.
