A flock of Wingull soared over the sea. Their snow-white feathers glittered in the bright sunlight as they skimmed the waves and rode the wind toward the sky.
Wailmer surfaced in neat formation, calling excitedly. A moment later, a spectacular column of water rose from the blue sea.
From a distance, it looked like a fountain out at sea. A sound as loud as a train whistle rang out, while the waves it stirred carried the Frillish floating nearby into the distance...
This was Undella Town in eastern Unova, a summer getaway famous throughout the Unova Region and the town closest to Blueberry Academy.
On weekends and holidays, Blueberry Academy students could often be spotted in the town's shopping districts and entertainment venues.
The holidays had not started yet, but plenty of tourists had come anyway, adding splashes of color to the beach.
Mingyou and Ogerpon left the airport together. The moment they stepped outside, a coastline straight out of a painting greeted them. The air of a tropical resort washed over them, drawing them in.
