A devastating strike fell from the sky. Even Mingyou could clearly feel its terrifying Pressure.
This was probably the powerful presence Gloria had mentioned. It had merely passed by her then, without attacking. Now, though, there was no doubt: it saw them as enemies and had made them its target.
"An ambush from the sky? Team Plasma... Forget it, dodge first!"
Mingyou had no time to complain. He had a long history with Team Plasma, and they would not let him go. If Kyurem's attack hit them, being turned into ice sculptures would be the best possible outcome.
But the cold swept over them. The temperature was so low that Miraidon grew uncomfortable, its joints starting to stiffen. It had never experienced cold like this, and the Cyclizar DNA within it recoiled in fear.
"Move! Why won't you move?"
Mingyou tried to steer Miraidon away. Only then did he realize it was afraid of the cold. He reached into his bag for the Synchronizer, intending to bear the cold himself so they could escape together.

"Guess it's up to me after all. Remember to give me a raise!"
Calyrex, seated behind him, shook its head and raised an arm. It had lived amid the ice and snow of the Crown Tundra for thousands of years and had long since overcome the cold. An attack of this level would not affect it in the slightest!
But before it could unfurl its bud and release its power, blue flames suddenly blossomed around Mingyou's right hand. Their heat held back the descending beam of ice and warmed Miraidon's body.
