Mingyou followed Cyrus all the way to the Helm. The moment he stepped out of the elevator and saw the facilities surrounding him, he nearly lost his composure. He even felt an urge to take the ship home.

"This is ridiculous..."

He finally understood why Saturn had said Team Galactic's technology was the best in the world. Team Plasma had equipment that could control Kyurem and draw energy from it? Sure, that was impressive. But compared with Team Galactic's technology, it was child's play.

Cyrus walked straight to the command platform, his hands clasped behind his back. He watched the many surveillance feeds above him. One showed Liko and the others in captivity, and Mingyou couldn't help frowning.

Then Cyrus turned around and looked coldly down at him. "Tell me where you came from. You're not from this spacetime, are you? The Terastal Energy on you makes that clear. You must have been swept here from another spacetime. Am I right?"

"That's right."

Mingyou admitted it without a second thought. Team Galactic had caused all this. It would have been stranger if they hadn't figured that much out.

Cyrus nodded. "I don't know which spacetime you came from, but finding your way here took some ability. Perhaps fate is guiding you toward the new world too. So... would you like to join Team Galactic?"

"Huh?"

Mingyou froze. Join Team Galactic? Was this a job interview with the boss? That came out of nowhere!

Cyrus noticed the brief lapse in his composure. He had been testing Mingyou all along. The man had remained far too calm even after his companions were captured. Cyrus hated the feeling that he wasn't in control, and he had suspected Mingyou knew what Team Galactic was up to and had come here with ulterior motives.
