After leaving Resolute Form, Keldeo returned to his original appearance, but the horn that symbolized his Sacred Sword had healed as well. It was no longer broken.
Only when the sounds behind him had faded completely did he turn around. Through the fading Tera particles, he could just make out Cobalion and Terrakion emerging from Iron Crown, reduced to ash by Blue Flare, and Iron Boulder, shattered by Behemoth Blade.
"Keldeo!"
Keldeo looked at their smiles and said goodbye to the souls of his two seniors. When he gathered his thoughts, their figures had already vanished.
Mingyou put away the two cards in his hand. Just then, Meltan popped out of his backpack, drawn by Iron Boulder's metal fragments.
"Meltaaan~"
"Hey, don't give yourself a stomachache."
After that warning, Mingyou glanced toward Cyrus in the distance with a faint smile. Reshiram and Keldeo were both back now. Surely Cyrus couldn't have another trump card.
And if he didn't...
"Keldeo, I'll leave those guys to you. That won't be a problem, right?"
"Keldeo!"
Following Mingyou's gaze, Keldeo looked toward the hundred-odd Paradox Pokémon in the Armory. He had used up a great deal of strength earlier, but it wouldn't slow him down much.
That left only Cyrus and one Iron Serpent to deal with!
Mingyou gripped his right wrist, ready to summon Reshiram. He had promised to buy Penny and the others time, but if he defeated every enemy outright, there would be no need to stall.
The tide had turned. Yet Cyrus's expressionless face showed no trace of panic. He hardly seemed to care that Mingyou had brought reinforcements. His trump card had never been those Pokémon. It was... the Team Galactic Ship itself!
"I had hoped to capture you for research. But since you insist on opposing me, I
