Only Dynamax could defeat Dynamax. That was practically an accepted fact among Trainers. This had to be the first time someone had beaten a Dynamaxed Pokémon head-on in an official match without relying on Dynamax themselves.
"Isn't the whole point of being the strongest to be someone others can defeat? Challengers are the ones who dare to take them on!"
Leon folded his arms and chuckled, seemingly forgetting that he was the one who held that title.
Mingyou walked into the center of the grass battlefield, which had been devastated beyond recognition, and picked up the unconscious Diancie. Smiling, he said, "You worked so hard. You didn't really have to push yourself that far, though. Bloodmoon could have handled that battle easily."

Mingyou smiled helplessly and returned her to her Poké Ball. A visit to the Pokémon Center later would get her back on her feet. According to the tournament schedule, the semifinals were the day after tomorrow, with no matches scheduled for tomorrow at all.
He looked up at Cynthia, who had recalled Garchomp and was walking toward him, then reached out to
