Finding a Sales Partner, the Ogre-Exorcism Festival

After asking a few questions, Mingyou finally learned that finding the ogre actually meant finding fragments of stories scattered throughout Kitakami, not going out to find a real ogre.

"Those stories again..."

Mingyou had already had a taste of them from Carmine. Their contents made him somewhat uncomfortable, but he had no way of knowing the truth for now. After all, hundreds of years had passed.

Akari noticed his expression. Although she did not understand why he looked that way, she still asked nervously, "Did I say something wrong again...?"

"No, no..."

Mingyou snapped out of his thoughts and waved his hands, then asked, "Are there any other Summer Camp activities? I want to see if there's a chance to do some business there."

"Hmm... The remaining ones are finding the signboards in each area of Kitakami, and finally exploring the haunted Eternal Forest."

Akari told him all about the Summer Camp activities, then reminded him in a low voice, "Don't tell anyone, okay? None of this has been announced to the students yet. I don't want my pay docked."

Mingyou was no blabbermouth. Still, it did not sound as though there were any opportunities for him to get involved and do business. Not that it mattered.

He was more interested in her earlier offer to help promote his produce, so he said, "How about this? If you help me sell my fruit and vegetables, I'll give you five percent of the profits!"

"For realsies?"

Akari looked utterly incredulous. She knew his fruit was expensive and sold by the piece. Even five percent could earn her quite a bit.
