History

Mingyou’s grandfather bought the remote plot to research Kitakami’s Terastal phenomenon. He planted fruit trees and vegetables to keep hungry wild Pokémon from attacking his research station; instead, the food drew them there to live. After his research funding ended, he stayed, became a Pokémon Ranger, and sheltered rescued Pokémon at the Manor 3.

Mingyou inherited the property with an overdue land-use debt. On arrival, he found an overgrown orchard and a neglected three-story villa. He chose to keep the Manor rather than transfer it to the local authorities, hoping to honor his grandfather’s wishes and protect the Pokémon living there 2 3 6.

Grounds and Facilities

• Orchard and vegetable patch — Mingyou grows fruit and vegetables there, including mutant crops with effects that can help Pokémon learn moves 5 49.
• Villa — The household’s main living space; Mingyou also offers rooms to guests 2 219.
• Pond — Located behind the villa and used by the Manor’s Pokémon 33 60.
• Everyone’s Gaming Club — An arcade near the Manor with twenty consoles, internet access, and seating for Pokémon of different sizes 191.
• Ecological Park — Developed to provide suitable habitats for more Pokémon; Kyurem offers to create a secluded Polar Region habitat 351 360.

Pokémon Community

• The Manor shelters Pokémon that need a home, including Wyrdeer, Gible, Bloodmoon Ursaluna, and Pokémon rescued from Team Rocket 33 36 90.
• Wild residents help tend and defend the grounds. When thieves enter the orchard, Pokémon including Latias, Electivire, Torterra, Wyrdeer, Ariados, and Spinarak work together to stop them 59 60.
• Residents come and go with the seasons: Noctowl plans to take the Hoothoot south in late autumn and return in spring 73.

Later Development

• Mingyou considers expanding the land as the number of residents and crops grows 146 147.
• The Manor’s produce business attracts customers and wider attention, as well as attempts to steal or copy its fruit 154 213 215.
• Years later, the Ecological Park is complete and the grandfather’s villa has been renovated and enlarged 478.
