More than half a month flew by after Professor Kukui, Akari, and the others visited the Manor.

During that time, Mingyou bought Rotom Phones for Ogerpon and Latias. He even spent a hefty sum hiring someone to install a signal base station on the Villa's roof.

They no longer had to worry about endless loading circles.

After asking Mingyou for help, she finally added Lillie as a friend. Just like that, they became close friends, with one of them completely unaware that the other was a Pokémon.

When she learned that Lillie had not done her summer assignment, which required documenting a Pokémon's ecology, Latias immediately offered to help.

Since Lillie was afraid to approach Pokémon, Latias would help her record Munchlax's daily life at the Manor on video.

Mingyou saw all of this, but he turned a blind eye and did not tell Professor Kukui. He also encouraged Latias to make friends.
